Nadja Adamovic

On Day 3 of the European Research & Innovation Days 2020, that took place last September, Nadja Adamovic (Leading Scientist at the Technical University of Wien, Chair of the EMMC and OntoCommons Coordinator) and Michela Magas (chair of the Industry Commons Foundation and Innovation and Sustainability Manager of the OntoCommons CSA), presented OntoCommons in a virtual workshop.

The two sessions were introduced by Peter Droell (DG for Research & Innovation, European Commission), who stressed the importance of data and interoperability.

The presentation provides a complete overview of the OntoCommons CSA activities, its innovative pluralistic approach including not just one, but several harmonised ontologies at the top level, and its huge impact in terms of benefits for the industry sector.
