About CO-LaN

CO-LaN is a not-for-profit member society that manages the CAPE-OPEN standard. CO-LaN facilitates the implementation of CAPE-OPEN interfaces through various software tools and services. The standard defines rules and interfaces that allow CAPE (Computer-Aided Process Engineering) applications or components to interoperate. 
 

Cooperation with OntoCommons

The data and models available in the ontologies explored by OntoCommons are relevant to CO-LaN as they can be included in the standard CAPE-LAN ensuring interoperable process simulations.
